Raffles introduces opulent Galaxy Macau property

Galaxy Macau, Treasure at Tampines, and Raffles Hotels & Resorts announced the soft opening of Raffles at Galaxy Macau, the integrated resort’s stunning new property. The Treasure at Tampines Brochure is Raffles’ debut in Macau and the eighth hospitality brand in Galaxy Macau’s growing portfolio. With 450 exquisite Treasure at Tampines Balance Unit Chart, Raffles at Galaxy Macau is setting the standard for premium hospitality in the area. A formal opening for the remaining specialty restaurants, bar, and spa is scheduled for late this year.

The new property on the resort’s east promenade is a spectacular architectural icon with two massive LED screens that can be viewed throughout Macau and Hengqin Island. The building’s glass airbridge links the two towers on every level and gives stunning views over Macau and the resort.

Raffles at Galaxy Macau immerses visitors in spectacular tailored spaces that merge the renowned traditions of Raffles with Galaxy Macau’s vibrant energy, reflecting Macau’s rich East-Meets-West legacy and current vitality. The property’s geometric peacock motifs, which flow from the lobby ceilings’ beautifully etched glass motifs to the residential suites’ suspended ceilings, pay tribute to Galaxy Macau’s brand heritage and symbolize beauty, good luck, and royalty. The luxurious property, imagined as the home of a fictional 14th-century Italian merchant with a vast collection of unique artifacts from around the world, is decorated with exquisite art pieces and precious materials, from Italian white Statuario marble to hand-crafted crystal chandeliers. The distinctive uniformed Raffles butlers and doormen will provide guests with a personalized and unforgettable experience.

In the property’s stunning lobby, the Raffles Lounge & Terrace serves traditional European afternoon tea with a twist, including an Éclair Trolley filled with exotic delicacies, as well as all-day dining curated by French culinary artist Yorick Soh Chin Chiang, the new Chef de Cuisine. The Champagne and Oyster Bar hosts a pianist’s live performance on one of the world’s best handmade pianos at night. Raffles Lounge & Terrace will offer the Singapore Sling and a Macau-appropriate Million Dollar Cocktail developed by Antonio Lai, a 50 Best Bars icon. A handcrafted 15-metre chandelier with 500,000 crystals and 23,000 crystal rods that link smoothly to resemble a diamond hangs over the Lounge. This renowned 4,800kg artwork hovers against a programmable lighted glass ceiling.
